During the first week in October 2016 (03rd -07th) we will see an international celebration of the importance of customer service during Customer service week.
Every year thousands of companies across the world celebrate customer service week and embrace and acknowledge what a key part to every business customer service is.
It was originally started in 1992 when the U.S Congress proclaimed Customer Service week as a nationally recognized event. National Customer Service Week is essentially a week long opportunity to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice and the growth of the UK economy.
Customer service is at the heart of every business and starts with the correct training and support for your staff to give them the confidence to make your customers happy and encourage them to return time and time again. Businesses that develop and coach their employees to be confident, knowledgeable and attentive will reap the rewards and develop a strong team who will support your customer’s needs time after time. It is important that businesses measure the performance of their staff and address any training needs immediately.
